AI Assistant Setup
Overview
To use the AI Assistant, you need to connect your AI provider accounts. This guide will help you set up and configure your AI providers.
Supported Providers
The latest models from each provider are available as they come out. You'll have access to new models automatically when they're released.
- OpenAI: Codex models
- Google: Gemini models
- Anthropic: Claude models
Connecting Providers
Follow these steps to connect your AI provider:
- Go to Workspace → AI
- Find your provider in the list
- Click "Connect"
- Follow the authentication steps
- Once connected, the provider is ready to use
Provider Authentication Methods
Different providers use different authentication methods:
OAuth
Sign in through the provider's website. You'll be redirected to their authentication page, and once authorized, you'll be redirected back to Cozea.
API Key
Enter your API key directly in Cozea. You can find your API key in your provider's dashboard or account settings.
Device Code
Some providers support device code authentication. You'll receive a code to enter on the provider's website.
Important Notes
- Security: Provider credentials are stored only on your device
- Privacy: No provider secrets are saved to workspace/server storage
- Team Members: Each team member connects their own providers
- Multiple Providers: You can connect multiple providers and switch between them
Viewing Usage
Monitor your AI usage and costs:
- Go to Workspace → AI
- See requests, tokens, and tracked cost for the month
- View usage per provider
- Monitor your AI consumption
Provider Status
Check your provider connection status:
- Connected: Active and ready to use
- Expired: Needs re-authentication
- Error: Check connection settings or provider status
